Conferences, trade fairs, and specialized events in Germany, Europe, and around the world provide essential platforms for sharing best practices, discussing current security solutions, and staying updated on regulatory developments. January 14–16, 2025, Dubai
The first major IT security event of the new year is Intersec 2025 in Dubai. More than a thousand companies from various sectors, including cybersecurity, healthcare, and emergency response, will attend. In 2024, the event attracted over 47,000 participants from 141 countries.
February 6, 2025, Munich
The 11th Bavarian Future Congress serves as a platform to discuss the ongoing digitalization efforts within the state and municipalities. It addresses key topics such as IT security, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and smart city initiatives.
January 20–22, 2025, Berlin
In 2025, the organizers anticipate up to 450 participants who will learn about modern Smart ID solutions in Berlin.
February 12-14, 2025, Leipzig
IT Defense is one of the largest international conferences in the field of IT security in Germany. IT security experts, hackers, and book authors will also attend the event. The organizers have announced that there will be no sponsors or advertising presentations at the event. Instead, they want to offer “an interesting mix of specialist lectures in which the content is in the foreground.”
Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz 2025
February 14–16, 2025, Munich
The Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2025 will take place immediately after IT Defense, once again at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich. While primarily a political event, the conference attracts hundreds of decision-makers from around the globe. To complement the main program, several side events will focus on technology and trends, including digital trust. In recent years, the conference has also featured a cybersecurity segment with leading experts from business and research. NCP will participate again in 2025.
February 25–26, 2025, Munich
ManuSec will take place in Munich and feature the theme "Cyber Security for Critical Manufacturing Summit." According to the organizers, the event primarily targets companies in the manufacturing industry, which is among the sectors most at risk from cyber-attacks in Europe and globally.
IT Security Strategy Days 2025, Volume 1
March 17-18, 2025, Cologne
The focal points of the event this year include cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, zero trust, security awareness, compliance and risk management.
March 18-20, 2025, Hannover
More than a hundred companies will showcase their tools and services at the Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC). Additionally, there will be a lecture program featuring 50 sessions that cover current trends, solutions, and information related to IT security. The event will also include 30 full- and half-day workshops, as well as 20 in-depth sessions.
Rethink IT Security Summit 2025

April 28–May 1, 2025, San Francisco
The RSA Conference has been one of the most significant IT security events in the world for many years. In 2025, it will once again be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Cyber Intelligence Europe 2025

European Identity and Cloud Conference 2025

May 8–10, 2025, Munich
At the Infinity Hotel in Munich, Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), Chief Security Officers (CSOs), and IT security managers will gather to exchange knowledge, collaborate on ideas, and create innovative solutions to enhance IT security. Finaki Deutschland GmbH organizes the event, which expects to welcome 120 participants this year. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in seven workshops.
May 13–15, 2025, Berlin
According to the organizers, the Data Protection Congress is the most important meeting place for data protection experts in German-speaking countries. The speakers at the 26th edition include many data protection officers from these countries.

BSI German IT Security Congress
Canceled for 2025
The Congress of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) will not take place in 2025. The organizer plans to hold it again in 2026, but it has not yet been determined whether it will be held digitally again.
Although modern technology allows us to accomplish many tasks from our desks, we highly recommend attending one or two of these events. These events offer the opportunity to connect with colleagues, engage in personal conversations with company representatives, and gain in-depth information.
