NCP Talk with Jan - Content Creator

Could you tell us a little about yourself?

Hello, I’m Jan Lemberger.  With over a decade of experience as a videographer and content creator, I’ve spent the last two years thriving on the NCP team. What truly excites me is the creative freedom my role offers — I get to experiment, innovate, and bring ideas to life. I enjoy crafting animations and designing visuals, especially when I see them used by our clients or featured on our channels.

At NCP, I get to do what I love most: editing videos, creating motion designs, and developing new content with a talented team. It’s incredibly rewarding to see my work shape our projects and become part of the bigger picture. Even outside the office, creativity is my constant companion—whether I’m out filming, diving into new video game worlds, or hitting the basketball court to recharge.

About 1.5 years ago, we welcomed you to NCP. What has your experience been like so far?

Since joining NCP a year and a half ago, I’ve truly found my place. The team’s spirit is inspiring, and the atmosphere is open and supportive — making it easy to share ideas and push creative boundaries. I especially value the personal responsibility, trust, and opportunities I’ve been given here, but I also feel supported and understood whenever I need it. For me, it’s the perfect mix to thrive and stay motivated.

As a Content Creator at NCP, what are your main responsibilities?

My role at NCP revolves around video content—from the first spark of an idea all the way to the final cut. I’m involved in everything: design, filming, editing, animation, and creating graphics. I aim to make content that is visually appealing and clearly communicates the intended message. Every day brings something new, which keeps things fresh and exciting.

What do you focus on when creating video content? What makes a video stand out to you?

For me, the flow of a video is essential. Every project needs its own rhythm to feel cohesive. Sound, visuals, pacing, and mood all need to work together. A great video should not only inform but also entertain or evoke emotion. When everything comes together and the audience stays engaged until the end, I know the video is successful.

Video is a powerful tool in marketing. Why do you think it’s so effective?

With videos, it’s possible to deliver information quickly—in an engaging, emotional way that’s (hopefully) easy to understand and digest fast. That’s a crucial feature these days. And it’s exactly what matters in marketing: grabbing attention, sparking interest, and building a real connection with the audience. Especially in today’s fast-moving world of short-form social media content, a well-made video is often the best way to stand out.

In your free time, you enjoy e-sports. How did this interest develop, and what are your favorite games?

My passion for e-sports grew naturally—first by playing on my own, then by following tournaments. I’m especially interested in League of Legends and fighting games like Super Smash Bros. because they are both strategic and technically challenging. What I find most fascinating are the stories around the players and teams. Like traditional sports, there are real rivalries, unexpected twists, and emotional moments that make watching e-sports truly captivating.

Basketball is also one of your hobbies. Which leagues do you follow, and do you play yourself?

Basketball has been a part of my life since childhood, both as a fan and as a player. I mainly follow the NBA for its high level of play and constant highlights. I also play regularly, whether at the park or in the gym with friends. For me, basketball is the perfect way to balance out my digital workday.
